Charity is a relatively new phenomenon here in Brazil Ação Criança, The Brazilian Charity Foundation, was established in 1996. Today it provides meals for 4.500 underprivileged youngsters under the age of seven. However, there is much more we could do given the funds to work with. Our recent great step forward has been to draft in the most famous football player of all time to act as our figurehead. Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé.

Our mission now, in addition to amplifying greater participation at home is to bring the work we do in combating infant malnutrition in Brazil to international attention. To this end we encourage your collaboration with us through the following offerings of limited edition artwork produced by the British artist Mark Dolamore. His 'TEN BUCK NOTE' is actually a bas-relief sculpture, an oversize re-interpretation of an American Banknote, featuring Pelé’s contemporary portrait.


The image is quite large, as you can see it features Pelé’s engraved, life-size portrait and comes framed, ready to hang.
Dimensions are 82 x 182 cm. Made from durable polyester resin, it need not be exhibited under glass.
